Bir Billing is surrounded by tea gardens and pine forests, with lots of small and big water streams along the snow cover Dhauladhar mountains in the Kangra Distt. of Himachal Pradesh and is the most calm and exciting at the same time.

Bir Billing is a Paragliding destination in the heart of Himalaya’s near famous tourist destination Dharamshala in Himachal Pradesh. The site of Paragliding in Bir Billing which is Baijnath is considered the best among the worlds sites for paragliding. Billing (the take-off site) is approx 2400M from the sea level and located in the greater Bir region and is about 14 kms from Bir.

A road which is made by cutting the edges of mountains lead to Billing from the Bir village. This road was first constructed in 1962. Bir Billing Hosted Paragliding World cup in 2015. This was “First Paragliding World Cup of India.”This event happened in the month of October from 24th to 31st, 2015.” During world cup 150 top ranked paragliding pilots of all over the world participating along with 500 free flying pilots.
