Sangla Valley is located in the Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, situated at a height of 8,900 Ft and is located in the Baspa Valley. In Tibetan, the term Sangala means pass of light which refers to the valley receiving sunlight during the day. Sangla is located at a distance of 214 KM from Shimla and it is 8 to 12 hours by road to reach Sangla.
